The Comfy Bummy Gift Registry feature allows you to create unlimited private
and public wishlists. Your first wishlist is created for you when you become a
registered user. It is called "Default Registry."
"Default Registry" is Your Private Gift Registry Your first Registry was created the moment you became a registered
user. It is called "Default Registry". "Default Regsitry" is the first list to
appear when you login to your account and on the "Gift Registry" link on the
lower left menu. This Registry is for your personal use and cannot be made
public or searchable.
To add products to your private Registry, browse through the Comfy Bummy web
site and click the "Add To Wishlist" link or button that appears near the
product name or description. A pop-up confirmation will appear to let you know
the item has been added. Repeat as often as you like. There is no limit to the
number of items that can be in a Registry.
Creating A Public, Sharable Wishlist/Gift Registry It is also possible to create registries that can be shared with
friends and family. These public and searchable registries are useful for baby
showers, birthdays and holidays. Your friends and family can find your registry
by searching by your first or last name. To make gift giving easy, your friends
and family do not need to know your shipping address. Our system remembers it.
For your protection a portion of your shipping address is blocked from public
view. To create a public and searchable registry, follow these easy steps:
First, you need to create a new registry. Follow these steps:
Become a registered Comfy Bummy client.
Log into your account
Click on the "Gift Registry" link in the lower left navigation menu.
This link is located just under the "Shipping Info" link.
Click on "Log In/Create New Gift Registry." Enter the name of your new
wishlist and click submit.
A pop-up confirmation box will appear to let you know the list has been
successfully added.
Next, add items to your new registry.
Browse through the Comfy Bummy Diapers web site.
When you see an item you'd like to add to your registry, click the "Add
To Wishlist" button or link that appears near the product name or
description.
Continue this process until you've select all the products you'd like to
add to your registry.
Next, populate your new registry!
Click on the "Gift Registry" link again.
You'll see that the products you selected to add to your registry have
been added to your private registry, or "Default Registry".
Next to each item there is a dropdown menu containing your wishlist
names. This dropdown menu appears next to the text "Gift Registry" To move a
product from "Default Registry" to your new registry, simply select the new
registry name from the drop down menu.
The page will refresh with the contents of your new registry.
Continue moving products from Default Registry to your new registry
until your new registry is populated with the products you'd like to share
with friends and family!
Finally, the last step, double check your registry and make it public!
You're almost done!
It's now time to select the shipping address to where your gifts should
be sent.
Your options appear next to the "Shipping Address" text. The default
shipping address is the Billing address entered when you became a registered
user.
Next, check the box next to "Public".
Finally, click the "Save Registry" button to make your registry public
and searchable!
Your friends and family will be able to find your wishlist by entering
your first or last name!
