This diaper has both pros and cons. The pros are that it is super soft on your baby's bottom, it has very adjustable sizing so that even the smallest baby can fit in them (even most preemies), and it is very absorbent so they don't leak. They are also quite affordable compared to other types of quality cloth diapers, if cost is an issue. The cons, though, are that they don't wick away moisture from your baby's bottom like some other cloth diapers, and I found that they don't work well as a nighttime diaper at all. The one night I had them on my daughter, she woke up screaming in the middle of the night. I found that she had soaked her diaper, and was lying inside a soggy, cold, urine-filled mess. Needless to say, she was very uncomfortable. I don't know if my daughter is simply a heavy nighttime wetter, but I have not put this diaper on her for nighttime and have not had the same problem since. Also, on one of these diapers, one of the plastic snaps broke off in the dryer after only the second washing, but I did not have this problem with any of the other diapers of this brand, so it may have only been a fluke. Overall, I found these were not my personal favorite for my daughter, but could work very well for others.

Great diaper! 01/24/2009

I started using this diaper about 8-9 months ago. These things are great! I use them for day and nighttime diapering. I have found that they do take quite awhile to dry though, about over 2 hours in a gas dryer! So my "green solution" is to dry on the line in the summer - makes them smell great and good for natural bleaching, and then in the winter I bought a good sized clothes drying bar/rack and I hang all the diapers on that over a furnace register if you have one, and within 2 days they're dry (I wash every 2-3 days). It also helps to put some moisture back in the air as they dry, humidifier works less in the house too! Be careful not to put too much soap in the water as they hold suds very well. I make sure I rinse after they're washed to get the extra suds out. I really feel that going to cloth diapers was the best decision I've made in quite awhile. My water bill hasn't increased much at all really, but my garbage ouput has basically been cut in half for the household because we're not using disposables anymore. Even my husband was willing to use these cloth diapers when he returned home from Iraq (I really didn't give him much of an option, just didn't keep disposables in the house!). The snaps are very durable, and have only had 1 snap break and fall off in the thousands of washes and wears. It's a hefty investment, but well worth it, just think of the space you save in the grocery cart every week as well. more room for REAL groceries! and no midnight runs to the store for diapers if you run out. they're only just a wash and dry load away! This diaper is really absorbant and super soft the only thing I didn't like about it is that it's bulkier than other fitted diapers. But I guess it's so bulky becase it's extremely absorbant. All in All good diaper great for nighttime!
